    Employment: Full-time - 12 Months
    Salary: Administrator Salary Schedule
    Reports to: Chief Human Capital Officer

    JOB SUMMARY
    The primary responsibility of the Director of Recruitment and Onboarding is to advance recruitment and retention efforts in collaboration with district administrators through the implementation of a comprehensive recruitment plan. Position is expected to communicate the district’s culture, values, and offerings in a compelling way.

    Required Skills:
    • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
    • Excellent interpersonal skills with good negotiation tactics
    • Ability to create and implement sourcing strategies for recruitment for a variety of roles.
    • Proactive and independent with the ability to take initiative.
    • Excellent time management skills with a proven ability to meet deadlines.
    • Familiarity with laws, regulations, and best practices applicable to hiring and recruitment
    • Proficient with or the ability to quickly learn applicant-tracking software or other recruitment systems.
    • Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite or related software.
    Essential Functions
    • Partnering with hiring managers to determine staffing needs
    • Screening resumes
    • Performing in-person and phone interviews with candidates
    • Administering appropriate district assessments
    • Performing reference and background checks
    • Making recommendations to district hiring managers
    • Coordinating interviews with the hiring managers
    • Following up on the interview process status
    • Maintaining relationships with both internal and external clients to ensure staffing goals are achieved
    • Communicating employer information and benefits during screening process
    • Staying current on the district’s organization structure, personnel policy, and federal and state laws regarding employment practices
    • Serving as a liaison with area employment agencies, colleges, and industry associations
    • Completing timely reports on employment activity
    • Conducting exit interviews on terminating employees
