03/28/2025   Job Title: Accounts Payable/Receptionist - Greet clients and visitors with a positive, helpful attitude.
- Assisting clients in finding their way around the office.
- Announcing clients as necessary.
- Helping maintain workplace security by issuing, checking, and collecting badges as necessary and maintaining visitor logs.
- Assisting with a variety of administrative tasks including copying, faxing, taking notes, and making travel plans.
- Preparing meeting and training rooms.
- Answering phones in a professional manner, and routing calls as necessary.
- Assisting colleagues with administrative tasks.
- Performing ad-hoc administrative duties.
- Answering, forwarding, and screening phone calls.
- Sorting and distributing mail.
- Provide excellent customer service.
- Scheduling appointments.
- Receives and verifies expense reports; reconciles expense and other financial reports with account balances and other office records.
- Facilitates payment of vendors, which may include verification of federal ID numbers, reviewing purchase orders, and resolving discrepancies.
- Ensures outstanding obligations are credited upon payment, identifies discount opportunities, and issues purchase order amendments or stop-payment orders as needed.
- Assists with accounting records and ledgers by reconciling monthly statements and transactions.
- Records entry of, verifies documentation for, and distributes petty cash.
- Calculates and reports sales tax based on paid invoices.
- Other related duties as assigned.
- At least a high school diploma level education.
- Must be reliable and extremely trustworthy.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Willingness to learn and develop as needed to enhance the effectiveness of the District Office.
- Ability to work through conflict with a concerned party.
- Must be proficient in Microsoft Office Suite or related programs.
- Must be able to learn other accounting software systems.
- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to maintain confidential and meticulous records. Preferences:
- Business or Accounting degree preferred.
- Certified Accounts Payable Professional (CAPP) certification preferred.

Salary: $15.00 - $22.00 per hour
Supervises: No Supervisory Responsibilities
The Receptionist/Accounts Payable is a key component of our district. The individual filling this role will be someone that understands the importance of working in customer service based on the desired model of the district. Working as both a receptionist and accounts payable, the individual will need to be able to manage their time and projects while working collaboratively and individually. This person also serves as the face and voice of the district to various stakeholders, thus it is imperative that the person understands the values of excellence and community while offering ownership to resolve issues with high responsibility, professionalism, and care.
